Jim Wesson, CEO of J.D. & Associates, Inc. has 21 years of law enforcement and training experience. Jim Wesson has served as a Police Officer, Detective, Police Sergeant, College Instructor, Trainer, Consultant and insurance investigations business owner in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past 41 years. His career has taken him through many aspects of public and private service with an extensive background in law enforcement, training and insurance investigative program development.
Upon retirement from law enforcement, Mr. Wesson was hired by Wausau Insurance Companies as a multi-line field adjuster/investigator with a primary focus on workers’ compensation. He was promoted to supervisor of the Western Division field investigations staff and SIU personnel. The success of the program was recognized by the Wausau Home Office, and Mr. Wesson was promoted to Director and asked to establish a national SIU and claim investigations program, which oversaw all lines of insurance, both private and commercial. He is now the President/CEO of J.D. Wesson & Associates, Inc. offering training, consulting, and investigations services to both insurance and self-insured clients. The company operates on a national basis providing SIU Consulting services, vendor management programs, and statewide investigative programs within California.
